How is everyone on this fine Saturday ? I was having an awesome start to the weekend when I got to chat to autumn_lilacs last night, but this was interuppted by my son having a nightmare then insisting on me climbing in with him to 'settle' him and protect him from monsters which resulted in me waking up 5 hours later hanging out of a single bed with a draft in my neck and a five year old telling me to "Get out mummy it is too warm"

Today then git worse with my internet going down, my son being a brat all day through lack of sleep, my husband having a heart attack and then a sulk as the bill for Egypt came in and Kimmi abandoning the house for her friends at talk of budgets, personal sacrifices and selling of the DVD's and non essential stuff. (She had so much stuff hidden under her jacket she looked like she was about to give birth.

Day is getting slightly better now it is almost done I wrote a blog on Google+  here (also known as the devil we don;t trust yet) made an awesome stiry fry haven't taken any painkillers since this morning and I am now settling down for family movie night (tangled) and then hoping to catch autumn_lilacs and maharet83 on msn, catch up with the Charles Erik girls on chat and maybe even get some writing done, if anyone else is around to chat later give me a shout :)

Oh another bad thing, still haven't caught up with veritas_st and I miss her :(

p.s oh and for the good news camp yay to 2 weeks free LJ time and I also got a pottermore account which I was ridiculously excited about.

So tired :( but joint SPN watch with autumn_lilacs was awesome.

Trying to make a master list of my fic and DAMN there is a lot, is there anyone I can pay with like chocolate who does this for you :P

Went out for the little brothers birthday last night and have seriously spent today DYING seriously !!!!! have never ever had a hangover like this :(

But in good news to cheer me up veritas_st made me write porn and I did, 1,400 words of pwp!!! I never write porn, I'm a fade to black kinda gal. Will post tomorrow.

Hi Guys I'm baaaaackk I had a stupid post op infection and was taken back into hospital on Sunday *kicks tummy* but I am out now yay

for those that had no idea I was away carry on about your business :D for those that sent love and hugs to the hospital many thanks and for veritas_st and autumn_lilacs who threatened me with physical bodily harm if I don't slow down thanks I love you both too (and ignore the bottom of this post) and for maharet83 your threats of serious bodily harm had the doctors worried enough to fix and release me :D

Ok now onto a couple of items of business. The awesomely amazing autumn_lilacs wrote THIS STORY for reverse Big Bang and seriously guys you HAVE to go read it, it is amazingly, immensely awesome. I was lucky enough to be an early reader of this piece and it literally gave me goosebumps, it is so well written and such a fantastically novel concept that my husband who has read one piece of fanfic in his life and it was mine and only because I forced him to has asked me to print it out for him. I really do not have enough words to convey how awesome this fic is, it is honestly one of the best things I have ever read in this or any other fandom so go read and leave some love. Also leave some love for the artist too because her work was amazing.

Second order of business is that I am signing up again for therealljidol last year I signed up with my writing journal myscribbles as I was so nervous but I met so many amazing people and ended up writing some pieces that I was really proud of, so another year gone and here I go again. Because of the nature of the competition I can't filter or flock the post but all entries will be under a cut and you are more than free to skip past them, I would also encourage the writers in my flist to go sign up, it is a lot of fun and there are some awesome people and writers taking part, so wish me luck :D

Ok so today has been a day for ups and downs.

On the down side I ended up back in hospital and had to get stupid blood injections and felt crappy all day and my tummy is killing me :(

On the upside i got a beautiful card from jayfray18 and it made me smile and I finally got everything finalised for the cottage that I am going away to on a writers weekend with the lovely veritas_st and dreamersdare . This is where were are going isn't it pretty?

Also working my way through my outdates comments, will be working on the welcome home mags journal tomorrow, I love you ALL so bloody much for doing that and it makes me smile everytime I see it so if I havn't replied to your entry please know that I will tomorrow.

Now for something that cheered me up immensely some conversations with my wee man this week.

On listening to the song God vs Satan by Biffy Clyro

Robert : "Mum is Satan the Devil?"
Me : "Yes sweetie"
Robert : "Why is God reversing Satan?"
Me : *confused* "Huh? oh no sweetie it is versus it means God's against Satan"
Robert : Why is god against the Devil, tell me the story"
Me : Goes into a long in depth family friendly story of the war and fallen angels
Robert : "So God threw Satan out of heaven for being naughty?"
Me : "Well pretty much Hon."
Robert : "But how was he naughty?"
Me : *Gets ready to break down pride, wars and original sin to a 4 year olds level*
Robert : "Did he smash all Gods windows?"

On watching The Sorcerers Apprentice at the cinema

Me : Actually enjoying watching Nic Cage as a medieval sorcerer
Robert : In a loud and indignant voice "That's not Merlin, he's really old!! Merlin isnt old he little and has big ears.... like me" (should mention that he watches the BBC's version of merlin with me)
Me : no you're right sweetie this is a story about Merlin when he is old.
Robert : "Oh", (still loud) "Where's Arthur then?"
Me : "Arthur's not in this film hon"
Robert : "But Arthur is always with Merlin"
Me : "Not in this story hon." sighs with relief as silence reigns for 30 mins
Robert : Mum?
Me : What hon
Robert : "When is sorcerer Mickey coming on?"
Me : "Oh no this isn't Fantasia honey, Mickey isn't in this."
Robert "At all?" *glares at screen*
Me : "Nope just those sorcerers"
Robert Kicks feet through rest of the movie and leaves proclaiming that it was "all right" despite having no Sorcerer Mickey, the WRONG Merlin and no Arthur or Excalibur and a funny looking dragon.

Back from camping!!!! and yes the first thing I did WAS to straighten my hair and no I do not think this means I have issues (although my husband insists it does) :P

I missed lj, yes that is sad isn't it :D but on the bright side I have new Sherlock to look forward too yayayayayaya (I will have the download link up soon for anyone who wants it) and new leverage tomorrow morning yay!!!!

Got some story notes for my prompts worked on, although the most work was done on the McShep one for the ever lovely veritas_st and the TSCC/Inception crossover for the lovely maharet83, speaking of which, she talked me into signing up for this

second piece of news is that my (hopefully FINAL FINAL) operation is set for the 30th September and my consultant has advised that if I lose another stone (I'm 12lb down since my previous op yay) then they will try as long as my blood disorder permits it to do the surgery through keyhole which means less scarring and fewer complications so this is what I am aiming for. With that in mind I am starting a strict diet and gentle exercise plan to get me to target or above in the next seven weeks and I plan on talking about it asking for advice etc. I am going to filter it because I realise many people do not want to hear me ramble about such nonsense so if you want to be included on the filter, please let me know in the comments. I am going to be using my flist for advice, recipes and lots of motivation, but don't want to bore anyone :)y

Was saving my happy post until after SPN as last few days have not filled me with the happy happy joy joy as my little man has not been good, but then got sent a beeyooootiful picture of my goddaughter, and then hubby and I had a lovely night together, acting almost like we did as teenagers, staying up into the wee hours talking, so thought show would make a nice 'threes a charm' right???
