Ok Have no idea how many of my flist watch The Good Wife, but those who don't should really look into it :) gorgeous, fiesty interesting female characters who take centre stage rather than providing pretty fodder for the men. Woman with balls and a sex drive even though they are past the age of 25, and also there are sometimes some pretty good legal dramas and political scandals going on in the background. Also for my totally shallow side Matt Czuchry is in it and he is pretty and he has the most amazing zingy chemistry with two of the main ladies, so much so that I kind of want him Alicia and Kalinda to run away together and start a private detective agent/law firm that solves world hunger and brings about world peace while they also look pretty. Ok but I digress, the reason for my post here is one of these characters

Kalinda, now Kalinda is the one from this totally awesome show to make it through to the first round of Fandom March Madness, now most of my characters are doing fine, Sheldon and Buffy are sitting pretty, Dean was getting beaten by Spock but he made a comeback and to be fair has won this thing like a gazillion times already. I am a little upset that Brian Kinney is losing :( even if it is to the awesome Sydney Bristow (Sorry Syd but Brian got my vote) and Parker is heading back up top, but Kalinda is trailing MILES behind some dude named Castle *ducks the flying tomatoes* ok yes I get that Nathan is awesome, always was always will be and that Castle is popular but I am here to plead the case of:-


Kalinda - she is awesome, she is a kick ass Private Detective who is smart, funny fiesty, she never waits around for someone else to save the day in fact most of the time she is running around saving everyone elses ass. How often so we see women of ethnicity in strong dominant female roles? and when we do how many of them are portrayed as bisexual and completely comfortable with that fact? Kalinda is ALL of these, she manages to make both the men and the women around weak at the knees. She is also smart, witty, funny and when she does care about a person fiercely loyal.
