Ellen Page Picspam!!!!

Ok so as inception is swiftly becoming the fandom that ate all other fandoms there have been more picspams than there have theories about the spinning top but I decided what they hey I want to do one. The lovely maharet83 and I felt that the very awesome Ms Page wasn't getting as much love as she deserved, so I decided to do mine on her.

Ellen first came to my attention in Hard Candy and her performance in this literally blew me away. I know it's not everyons cup of tea or idea of a favourite movie but she herself was outstanding as she moved swiftly and seamlessly from innocent ingénue to terrifying sociopath she was a joy to watch.

Her perfomance in Juno was equally amazing and it was a total turnaround, everything about the charatcder from her speech patterns to her mannerisms, it was like watching a totally different girl and then in her chance to play superhero in X Men again she again turned in a completely different perfromance, her small but totally stand out role as Kitty sealed my love and had me rooting for Ice Man/Kitty.


Now before we move onto the pretties, here is the reason I love this girl completely When asked about her favourite childhood fairytales, the lovely Ms Page had this to say.

“As a girl, you're supposed to love Sleeping Beauty. I mean who wants to love Sleeping Beauty when you can be Aladdin?”

Now how can you NOT love that!!!


Now onto the pretties as that is what you came for yes?




I loved this film and how can it be possible not to root for someone with a smile this cute and a range of snark that makes you want to squee.

YAY for this!! I love, love, love her. I first saw her in Juno and fell for her then. She's incredibly talented, and I love especially that her mannerisms are so understated and she's so tiny, and then she hits the screen and mows down everything in her path. :)

When I first heard she had the part in Inception, I admit to being a little worried. Such a huge movie in so many ways, but she nailed it. She can do anything, in my book.

Warning.....that fandom will Eat. You. Alive.

Her being Kitty Pryde completely cemented my love for her and I've followed her career ever since. <3

Though I have to admit that I'm disappointed in her role in Inception.

Love love love Ellen Page, since after oh, about ten seconds of her on Regenesis. When the teenage daughter steals the entire scene even though it's with the male lead of the show, you know to keep an eye out. So I imdb'd her, and waited quite impatiently for Mouth To Mouth and Hard Candy. Liked the first, got blown away by the second. I'll watch anything she's in now, due to both talent and the intelligence to go for such varied and interesting parts.

I love you for putting Hard Candy up there! You are one of the few people I know who has actually SEEN that movie, and appreciated it! She was AMAZING in it.

Did you ever see An American Crime? Also not everyone's cup of tea, but she was a sweet, innocent sort of girl in it. Good movie.

Yay for Canadian girls! Also, aw @ the pictures of her and Drew. I first saw her in a Canadian show (that is definitely worth checking out btw, though not for the faint of heart) called ReGenesis.
