He was eating a sandwich today and has a thing about eating the crusts.

Wee Robert : "Here mummy." *places two soggy crusts on my lap*
Me : "No sweetie, mummy doesn't want them, but thank you for sharing." *Tries to hand back sodden crusts*
Wee Robert : "I'm not sharing, you need to put them in the bin."
Me : *adopts stern mummy voice* "No darling, it is your rubbish, you need to put them in the bin."
Wee Robert : *stamps foot* "But why? I want you to do it."
Me : "Because you're a big boy now."
Wee Robert : "You're bigger."

At least you aren't having the "Why did that lady say the man was coming to visit his husband, boys don't marry boys do they Mum?" conversation with him yet! I don't know who was more embarassed by the end of that little talk, me or our 11 yr old lol! My only consolation was that he didn't ask exaclty where things go in boy on boy loving - I'd already decided to just open up one of the J2 fics and let him read that, or let his Dad explain it all to him *grins*
