New info on the back to the future episode

Randall in New York: Last week's Supernatural was unbelievable! So hilarious and so well done. Got any scoop on what's next?
According to my mole: There is an episode coming next year in which Anna returns and wants to kill Sam, so he doesn't say yes to Lucifer. She travels back in time to kill Mary and John Winchester, so Dean and Sam go back in time to try and stop her. So does that mean we'll see Jeffrey Dean Morgan again? Sadly, no, as it will be "young John" and "young Mary." For the record, CW, I like my John W. old and scruffy and JDM-y!

So this is exactly what some of us were speculating about, with the whole would your parents be alive if Sam was never born question last week, and is also the episode Anna returns.

I should have many thoughts on this, but frankly?... I'm just happy that the boys get to go back in time, and Sammy gets to meet his mom.

I'm still very eh about Anna, but at least this is an actual plot for her rather than being poorly used as Exposition Gal. They'd better have a good explanation for how she managed to duck that death sentence when the angels took her back though!

Also, as gleeful as I am over young!Mary and young!John - ANOTHER MISSED OPPORTUNITY FOR JDM. WE'RE RUNNING OUT OF TIME PEOPLE, BRING BACK SIR!

(Much as I would love this episode to have a dramatic conclusion - if Anna is out to kill a Winchester then she should die, no question - I can't help feeling they're going to cop out of making her a real antagonist with plenty of emotastic moments along the way. Oh joy.)

Oh, that seems very interesting! Both of them in the past and Anna? Well I like the idea they made her kind of an ennemi. It would be perfect if in the end the boys would kill her. Yes, I dislike Anna very much and I think I'll always do. *sticks her tongue out at her and wishes she'll get killed*

Yeah. I read this AND IT SOUNDS AWESOME. I imagine Cas having to decapitate Anna with the same sword she used to kill Uriel. OH THE IRONY.

Because clearly Cas is the way they get back to the past and follow Anna . . . I doubt Zach is like "lemme help you out here."

Well...he might be...because he wants Michael to kill Lucifer, and whereas Lucifer can apparently use another body besides Sam, Michael just isn't showing up (for whatever reason), leading to the spec that he NEEDS Dean's body because he's just too cool to not blow someone else up entirely (just for argument's sake). Maybe?

So wouldn't Zach be like "Wait, Dean'll die too...Aww, snap!" But in Zach-speak, because I don't think anyone on this show says "oh snap."

So I'm actually a little tired with the time travelling, but hey, if it works, it works. I just want me some JDM! Why couldn't she go kill Sammy in the crib before Azazel could bleed in him? That'd get us some JDM and make the boys face their worst memory, but this time TOGETHER (instead of just Sam with Azazel).

As for Anna...MAN am I wondering what's gonna go down when she returns and when (or if, but I'm guessing when) she tattles on Cas. And adding her wanting to gank poor lil Sammy (wait, nevermind, MARY AND JOHN 'CAUSE SHE'S SNEAKY LIKE THAT). Lots of drama to be had, I just hope they handle it well. *crosses fingers and TRUSTS*
