Summary: Complete and total fluff/crack, a tag to Valentines and Pie found HERE as some people expressed an interest in what was in the note.  Hope it doesn’t disappoint, I just can’t see Dean or Castiel doing really romantic sonnets :)  Forautumn_lilacs for all the evil encouragement

Lucy mentioned that humans celebrate the feast of St Valentine by sending each other tokens to express their love, so I wanted to send my token to you.

 

Did you know that St Valentine was arrested for preaching the word of God? After he was arrested, he cured the jailer’s daughter of blindness so they beheaded him.  He’s a very nice man, always very polite and cordial, although he was rather bemused when I explained to him the tradition that humans have for commemorating his holy sacrifice. 

 

I did try to explain to him that humans have very strange traditions, you even celebrate the birth of Jesus on the wrong day, but I’m not sure if he was listening.

 

Last I heard he was lodging a complaint with the ‘inappropriate saint celebrations committee’.  Not sure how much luck he will have with that though. St Patrick was only saying the other day that his complaint has been lodged for coming up on 100 years now, and he still hasn’t received so much as an acknowledgement letter.

Poor St. Valentine and St. Patrick, having to deal with all that red tape and having no one answer them.

Yep, guys are hopeless at the note writing, every card I have ever received from my hubby has been signed love Robert no more, no less :) if I ever asked him to write me a love note, I think he's have a heart attack :D

Oh god, I'm SO HAPPY you didn't write something really silly and saccharine, this is PERFECT. Castiel's inane babbling about dead people in heaven and trying to make it relevant and just having no idea what to write -- love love love. And even MORE love for his signing the card "yours" -- that just makes me unbelievably giddy, because yes, Castiel is so his. ♥♥♥

Dean's letter was awesome too, the scratching out is so in character. I can just imagine how messy this looks. XD And his jealous attempt at nonchalance! Icing on top. XD

Dean's reply, by the way, was so totally awesome as well. I love how he keeps scratching out his feelings with the whole There’s a reason guys don’t write notes you know!. And I especially loved his whole passive/aggressive Lucy jealousy (what, do you like jealous Dean or something? ;)). And I know I practically just quoted the entire thing, and I know that might be silly, but this was so awesome I couldn't help myself!
