I'm watching (and so far loving) so hold off on the bugs, although teabags of the non used variety are welcome :P

and I wonder if it is ever going to be possible to create a Holmes / Watson that is not slashy :P

I love it! Much better than RDJ's Holmes, in my opinion. It's only 3 episodes though :(

But have to admit the BBc version is the most out there slashy one I've seen so far, cue conversation with hubby last night after the girlfriend/boyfriend discussion in the cafe.

Hubby : "Wait so they made Holmes gay, can they do that?"

Me : "No sweetie, he has always been gay, it was all the other adaptations that tried to make him straight."

Holmes has been one of my loves since I was about 14 (along with homoerotic literature, gee how did I combine those two? LOL) and while the new movie was fun and what ever, it was definitely not my Sherlock Holmes!

I can accept a modern day AU easier than something that sits between a parody and the real thing (which was the movie for me). Also I seem to be immune to RDJ's charm and have never liked Jude Law (this was actually the first movie of his that I watched, ops?). So yeah, old fashioned moron, that's me :)
