Mags and the horrible, no good, very bad day :(

Have horrid, horrid kidney infection which has landed me with bed rest. Yesterday was bearable but today is horrible, stuck in bed, intermittently falling asleep and then waking up and watching masterchef which makes me hungry, but then when I eat I am sick.

So my darling flist, point me towards happy, fics, pics, vids, new shows you think I should try, anything to make sitting in bed on my lonesome bearable!!!!

on the one happy point new Sherlock was v v good.

Watch United States of Tara, Weeds, Community or Modern Family! They shall cheer you up! And you could try Dexter. Not really the cheery kind of story, but I'm sure you could vent some frustrations pretending Dexter's victims are a stand-in for your condition. Take that, kidney infection! Or Mad Men, for the "Sure, I have a kidney infection, but at least I'm not a woman living in the 60s, phew" factor.

And I just bought new stuff for the apartment. Bet that excites you, you kitchen-cleaning freak.

Might try to get a rec post up, but right now I'm starving and I'm trying to get things sorted before I head off for..... *drumroll* INCEPTION.
