Ha, that is wonderful! I hope you do enjoy them. I think I did, I might even have the first one, but by the time it came out my interest was waning in the series. I have to admit, I am reading very few mainstream books these days. With the twins, the hours I used to have for reading has dwindled severely. On top of that, I have gotten very involved in fandom now. Between emailing people on my flist, leaving feedback, reading new and old stories, and now writing my own, I haven't picked up an actual book since this summer (still have to read Janet Evanovich's series, no matter what).

I will still keep reading mainstream, but with the time factor I will just be muc more selective. I really do hope you enjoy whatever books you selected. I second the recommendation for A Wrinkle in Time. It was a very well told story. It won the Newbery Award for the year it was released.
