Castiel cast a wary glance over the range of instruments in front of him.


It had been a while since he had seen so many torture instruments in the one place.

Given that he had visited hell, and spent the majority of his time with the Winchesters, that was saying something.

He cleared his throat and turned to Dean to voice his concerns, but found him tied up in a conversation with the dark-haired man who owned the store. What was his name? John? James? No Jim, that’s right Jim.

“No I’m fine,” Castiel stated. “I’m assuming it looks like Dean’s”

“Well, more or less” Jim said “well except the one noticeable difference.”

Castiel felt the panic rise up in him, as his horrified gaze met Dean’s amused one.

He started unbuttoning his shirt as Jim’s voice washed over him.

“Difference?” he questioned, wondering if his voice was coming out as squeaky as it sounded to his own ears.

“The name underneath, of course. What’s wrong?” Jim asked as he finally took in Castiel’s expression.
