Since we’ve no place to go, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

Had a wonderful weekend, met up with many old friends, some of whom I haven’t seen in almost 6 months and had a lovely meal, followed by party at ours, in which I finally made my bed between 4am and 5am.  I have pictures of us all playing Guitar Hero World Tour for anyone who fancies cheering up I can post with my next post, be warned though they contain  very drunk adults, behaving like very big kids (there were fights over lead guitar)

Hangover, not of the good, but survived it by eating lots or rubbish and rewatching sn, Comments below

On a completely different note, it is snowing here, as in 4 inch deep lie on the ground snow, now although Scotland is cold, we don’t get that much snow, buckets of rain yes (it’s why we are a green and fertile land) but not much snow, so when I looked out the window this morning I literally squeed.  It did however lead to this very confused exchanged between me and my 3 year old

why snowing means it's christmas )

Writer's Block: Been There, Done That
[Error: unknown template qotd]My birthday 3 years ago, my son, was 2 months old, he has been born prematurely and had been on a ventilator, he came off 4 days before and came off morphine, so that morning, he was bright and alert, the midwife brought him out for a cuddle.  i remember sitting there with my little boy in my arms and he was staring up at me and he curled his hand round my fingers.

I stared down at him and for the first time really, really felt like a mum.

It was the best birthday present I ever had and I would love to live that day over and over again
