“I’m less worried about what people will think Clark, and more worried about finding out what these guys want with you” Lex replied. “It’s a good plan, it makes sense, so do me a favour and just accept it for now okay.  Anyway, shouldn’t you be going to get ready?  Your parents are expecting us in less than an hour.”

Clark sighed, when Lex put on his reasonable voice, it usually meant he wouldn’t be swayed.
